Japan’s new soccer jersey to be launched in Port Elizabeth

The Japanese Football association, in collaboration with Adidas Japan, is delighted to announce that the Japanese national squad will premier their new colours at the Nelson Mandela stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday 14 November 2009.
Port Elizabeth’s brand new fifty thousand seat stadium will host its first match, a friendly between Bafana Bafana and Okada Japan, at which Japan’s new blue uniform will be worn for the first time.
South African Tourism Japan Country Manager, Bradley Brouwer, said "It is a great honour that Port Elizabeth’s wonderful new stadium, named after our first democratically elected president, has been chosen to premier the Japanese football teams’ new colours. I would like to join the Japanese team and their supporters in a big cheer for their wonderful new Samurai blue jerseys
