Harveys bar at Winchester mansions gets an exhilarating makeover

Harveys Bar at Winchester Mansions has undergone a makeover and is currently among the trendiest spots on the Atlantic Seaboard. To best cater to their cherished, existing and new guests, Harveys now offers a more stylish, spacious and modern bar with an utterly luxurious feel while it retains its signature classic elegance.

Stylish comfortable furniture combined with modern technology lighting sets the mood for the vivacious ambiance in the bar. The bar tastefully integrates rich wooden finishes, bronzed mirrors and ebony coloured parquet flooring with brick walls of sandblasted high class African art. The bar boasts a high tech entertainment system including Bose sound system and two spectacular 102cm Sony Bravia LCD televisions featuring a bouquet of DSTV channels. Therefore Harveys is the perfect setting for soccer fans to enjoy all the 2010 FIFA World Cup action in picture perfect clarity with fellow supporters.

The Harveys Passionada, an exciting new signature sundowner cocktail consisting of a Passion Fruit Puree and Malibu Rum topped with Pierre Jordan Brut was designed to align with the new setting. In addition, an enticing new cocktail menu will thrill all guests with a large selection of premium spirits, fresh fruit purees and spices to tantalize the most discerning taste buds.

Christophe Borderie, Harveys French executive chef, designed a scrumptious bistro menu for all palates and appetites. The menu includes mouthwatering Flammkuchen French pizza, club sandwiches, seafood dishes and delicious savouries such as samoosas and spring rolls.

The bar comfortably seats 70 guests with ample standing room. The bar’s balcony with its spectacular sea views of the Atlantic Seaboard provides seating for 28 guests.

Harveys Bar currently operates from 10am till 1am.

Other lifestyle services unique to Winchester Mansions are the monthly Grapes Gourmet and Gallery evenings, weekly Sunday Jazz Brunches, Ginkgo Health and Wellness Spa and the new Harvey Suite.
